Co-Founder
Raja Ranga Bupathi Kamani brings strong corporate leadership and international market development experience to RK Leaf International. With an academic background in management and over a decade of leadership experience, he combines structured business practices with deep knowledge of the tobacco industry.
Coming from a family with agricultural roots, he understands the tobacco value chain from farm-level sourcing to global trade. His experience includes business development, strategic planning, and international customer engagement.
Previously, while leading operations at Pragathi Tobacco Traders India Pvt. Ltd., he played a key role in expanding the company’s export presence across international markets including the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia.
Earlier in his career, he served as National Sales Head at Siegwerk India Pvt. Ltd., where he managed multi-regional teams, strategic growth initiatives, and P&L responsibilities.

R. V. Praveen Kumar
Co-Founder
R. V. Praveen Kumar is a seasoned tobacco industry professional with over three decades of hands-on experience in tobacco sourcing, processing, and export operations.
He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Prakasam Enterprises, a well-established tobacco sourcing and export business based in Tangutur, Andhra Pradesh. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a USD 35 million enterprise, recognized for its consistent quality and dependable supply.
Coming from a strong agricultural background, he has built deep relationships with tobacco farmers across key growing regions in India. His expertise in crop characteristics, leaf grading, and procurement enables efficient sourcing across multiple tobacco varieties including FCV, Burley, and HDBRG.
He has developed long-standing business relationships with leading domestic tobacco companies such as ITC, VST Industries, PSS, and Bommidala Brothers.
